When Misfortune Comes, We’re A Call Away
Unwelcomed water can quickly turn into big trouble for your home. It has the potential to wreak havoc on your home, belongings, and even your family. Sudden or accidental water damage problems pop up without warning, which is why our professional restoration service is always on standby. An appliance malfunction, ruptured water supply line, natural disaster, or if the weather actually got cold enough to get down to the temperature pipes freeze are a few possibilities; all of which are typically covered by insurance policies.
Baseboards, cabinets, and antique furniture are frequent victims of water traveling through your home or business. But before you start wishing for less of a leak, keep in mind that slow leaking pipes are often much worse as the lurking water creeps through your home and creates the perfect environment for expansive mold growth. Whether the damage began this morning or the last time you went to the gym, we’re fully equipped to handle it.
We strongly recommend using a certified water damage emergency service (obviously), but however you get the issue taken care of, it is of utmost importance to mitigate the area of concern as soon as possible. Waiting too long could turn your crisis into a full-blown nightmare.
Oh, and for you business owners out there, we do commercial water damage restoration too!
Our Water Damage Restoration Process*
We perform a thorough inspection of the area in question using state-of-the-art leak detection equipment.
We document the entire process from beginning to end with photos, a sketch, dry logs, and videos if necessary.
Any water damaged furniture and belongings are moved out of the affected area in an effort to save them from damage.
Whether you have carpet, wood, or tile floors, any standing water must be extracted.
Next, we remove certain soaked materials that have been ruined beyond repair, including wet baseboards, wet trim, wet carpet, wet carpet pad, wet drywall, and wet insulation to name a few.
When there is any concern for mold, we apply an anti-microbial solution to wipe out any mold or mold spores. A thorough application is used on walls, wall cavities, ceilings, and floors. This application also works as a preventative measure to decrease the chance of mold growth in the future.
Then, we set up the necessary amount of dehumidifiers and fans to dry up the remaining water that was absorbed into your home.
A follow-up inspection takes place after 3-5 days to make sure everything has dried out properly.
*Each water damage is unique and requires a specific plan of action that often differs from another. Eg. Interior walls affected with clean water may not need to be removed and can be saved by opening up the wall cavity behind the baseboard.
